New Snow?? - Well Maybe...

Snow-forecast have been busy reorganizing their snow forecasts and I have been lucky enough to get a free membership for helping them out. Check out the info below for Morzine.

Its looking positive I think.

Please note that the images below are for the Mid Station for Morzine, this is situated at 1638m.

As you should be able to work out the temperature is gradually getting cooler and I think that the french winter season has really begun to set in. The temperature is rising and dropping often however the end result is always slightly lower than where is started off from. With the forecast for the end of the week looking like rain with a bit of snow mixed in then all is not lost I guess. I'm hoping that the weather will cool down a bit more however so that the rain will fall as snow. Well, we can all live and hope eh!

The graph demonstrates exactly what I was saying in regards to the temperature. We begin the week with the freezing level way above 3500m but by the end of the week after a cool spell its down to around 2200m after dipping to as low as 1600m during the middle of the week.
