Following on from a users request I shall be putting up some detailed information on what seasonaire accomodation there is in Morzine. Keep an eye over the next couple of weeks for this.

Its been a while since I last updated the website and its time again for me to say. This is what I am hopefully going to get done this season. Right then. Well I would really like to introduce some level of interactivity to the site. I will probably be adding a forum to replace Readers Comments, specifically people that are heading out to morzine be it for the season or for the week. You'll be able to ask any questions you like and hopefully get some decent replies. I will also be updating the Webcams as there have been a lot of changes there. I may also add a review section allowing you to put up your reviews of restaurants, hotels, apartments, companies in the Morzine/Portes Du Soleil area. The main aim of this website is to inform those people heading out to Morzine so they can have the best time possible. Morzine to me is a magical place and I hope that together we can build this site into a community showcasing what Morzine has to offer.

Chatel have been putting a fair bit of effort into getting a decent park setup this year. They have purchased a brand spanking new Snow Turbo pipe basher to make a 120m pipe.
They've also got some new rails, the updated setup looks like this;
Slopestyle (800m)
Kickers: 4 Green, 3 Red (including step up), 2 Black
Rails: 1 Flat 4m, 1 Flat 6m, 1 up/flat/down, 1 kink, 2 C's, 1 S.
Its definitely worth a look.
The Pipe is accessible from the Les Coquelets ski lift and the Slopestyle via Les Bossons.

Avoriaz (and I presume the rest of the Portes Du Soleil) have introduced a new way of paying for your days skiing called Direct To Lift.
After paying 19 euros to sign up to the scheme you are able to go directly to the lifts and use your pass without having to wait in the queue for your lift pass at the beginning of the day. You simply pay a direct debit each month depending on how many days skiing you've managed to fit in.
While I realise this is aimed more towards the local French and Swiss Im sure it would also come in handy for those lucky few that are able to get out for a weekend every now and again thoughout the season.

Over the summer the Avoriaz park shapers have been working on a new innovative park located in the Linderets trees. The park is designed to respect the environment by only using snow and work to create it. The park starts off with some simple rails but finishes with a 30 meter monster called "The Golden Gate".

Morzine opened at the weekend with some amazing conditions. The sun has arrived just in time after a week of almost uninterrupted snowfall. Pistes have been perfectly groomed and there is thigh deep powder absolutely everywhere to be had.

The Prodains gondola is now open and there is still shed loads of snow falling. The snow on piste is perfect and there is enough snow offpiste to not damage your board now. Looking set to be an amazing season.

I've just done a bit of an update on Morzine's entertainment. It's just a bit of information about what you can do in Morzine when you're not on the piste Have a look at it here or by clicking the link on the left.

Ok, I know I always say im going to put this up or im going to be changing this but I rarely do. So all im going to do for the moment is tell you that over the coming season you can't really expect much from me. Hopefully if things go well then i'll add some extra content but that just depends on how much spare time I have.
For now, just keep an eye on the webcams!

Gotten round to putting up some information about some of Morzine's Bars. There are a few more to come and I will try to fill out those thats ive already put up with a bit more info. For now its a good introduction into some of the nightlife you can find in Morzine.

Well the season is over in Morzine once again but they're all busy preparing for the summer season of Mountain Biking and the likes. Expect to see some information coming up about what there is on offer over the summer months soon.

The Park Reviews are up, which should give you some fairly decent information of what to expect and where to get it. Will be adding information about the Les Gets park soon. If you head out there and see something interesting don't hesitate to let me know and I'll update the information.
